I first learned to make pots as an undergraduate at Bradley University in Illinois. Afterwards I spent the next couple of years on my own developing my work. Currently, I am living in Pennsylvania and working towards an M.F.A at Penn State.

The thing I enjoy most about working in clay is its endless possibilities. Originally I learned to make pots in a more traditional manner. After developing an understanding of the history and traditions of ceramics I have been exploring new possibilities in my work. I strive to create work that is lively and energetic through altering forms and embellishing surfaces.
