From the moment that I touched clay in a pottery class sixteen years ago, I have been fascinated by it. Clay has seen me through relationships, college, marriage and children. It is instantly altered by only a push of a finger and can be formed into an expressive sculpture or a functional vessel. This diversity in the medium constantly intrigues me. From the ground, to my hands and then through the fire…a cycle that I am called to and one in which I am eternally grateful.
