NOTES: Knox Reid was one of the first Sul Ross Normal graduates and was active in theatre activities.
He was also Business Manager for the football team, and was given that position because he owned
the above auto which allowed him to help transport players to out of town games. Freda Gipson Powell
graduated from Sul Ross Normal, also, and later served as the department chair. She is most remembered
as the person who got Dan "Hoss" Blocker interested in theatre.
