Chris Marks is in his first season as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Sul Ross State University, previously having been at Clarendon College. In two years as an assistant and two years as Head Coach at Clarendon, the Lady Bulldogs made three regional tournament appearances, and set numerous national records in various categories. Prior to Clarendon, Marks spent ten years as a high school head coach, with his teams making seven playoff appearances.
Coach Marks earned his Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State University in 1987, and was a member of the track team. He went on to complete his Master of Arts from Adams State College in 2010.
He and his wife Eddi have been married since 1984, and have two sons: Aaron – a high school coach in Texas, and Patrick – a college student in Utah.
