Dr. Nelson Sager received his Ph.D. in English from Texas Tech University. He is one of only two Sul Ross Piper Professors and is the author of numerous poems, both published and informally circulated. Nelson teaches British literature, film as narrative, and creative writing--poetry. He serves as sponsor for Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society.
