Professor Ray Kessler has nearly 35  years of teaching experience in higher education.  In addition to 25 years at Sul Ross, he has taught at a community college, liberal arts college, and medium and large (University of Memphis) universities.  He has experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney and worked in a juvenile delinquency program.  Kessler has joined 2 briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court.   He has taught in police academies and authored numerous scholarly works. Kessler’s primary interests are gun control and the Second Amendment, civil liberties, the U.S. Supreme Court,  use of force and the Fourth Amendment.  His blog, “Crime, Law and Justice” is at http://crimelawandjustice.blogspot.com/
