Accepting Your Financial Aid Awards

We are happy to provide you with your financial aid offer for the forthcoming academic year on behalf of the Financial Aid Office.

This offer is meant to help you close the gap between the amount of financial assistance that you and your parents can reasonably be expected to provide and the actual cost of attending Sul Ross State University. Please take the actions listed below to accept or view your award online.

• Access your Student Dashboard by going to your mySRSU.
• Log in using your Sul Ross email and password.
• Select Financial Aid
• Select Award Offer tab (Please make sure you are on the correct award year at the top.)
• Options for accepting award offers include:
  • • Accept the full award amount by selecting Accept full amount of all awards.
    • Choose Decline or Accept for each award offer.
    • Accept a partial amount by selecting Accept and entering the amount in the Accept partial amount field.

Unless the student notifies the Office of Financial Aid in writing via the Adjustment form that they will not be enrolled full time, your financial aid award offer is based on expected full-time enrollment. For undergraduates, full-time enrollment entails 12 or more hours, whereas for graduates it is 9 or more hours. Please fill out the Adjustment Form and send it to the SRSU Financial Aid Office at the campus you are attending if you will not be attending full-time.
