The Office of International Studies(OIS) is on a quest to transform lives by providing access to high impact, international experiences across the SRSU and global community with a commitment to excellence in partnership, innovation, and services.

The mission of the Office of International Studies(OIS) is the development of a globally aware, culturally diverse education and research environment. The Office enhances the educational experience of students to create global citizens with an awareness of the world around them; attracts international scholars who enrich the community; expand the college’s brand internationally and contributes to the creation of just societies around the world. 

The professional and dedicated staff provide services for students, their families, faculty and staff who wish to learn about and engage in international educational experiences at Sul Ross State University including, advising, immigration advice, advocacy and programming aimed at supporting and enriching the educational experience for international and domestic students at SRSU, as well as the overall internationalization of the university.
