This spring, re-discover the wonder of kites! Together we'll explore the design and uses of kites through the ages.
Who: Just for ADULTS! (18 yrs and older)
Where: Museum of the Big Bend, Education Center

What: Kite crafting and flying
How did kites begin?
Kites are one of the world's oldest toys and tools. We'll explore kite folklore, tales, and recorded history from East to West ~ a 2,000 year timeline of kites flown for pleasure and purpose.
So, you want to fly a kite?
It's a discovery of kite delights with designs, shapes, colors, and the art of kite flying.
What is the fun of kites?
In the afternoon you'll be "painting the sky" with your artisan kites ~ a soaring celebration into the wind.
