Message from the Dean Larry Guerrero
Welcome to Sul Ross State University and the College of Professional Studies. Our College includes Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Education, Kinesiology, Industrial Technology, Law Enforcement Academy, Vocational Nursing, and the Small Business Development Center. We offer both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in most of our departments as well as certifications and licensures. Our excellent faculty prepares students for several careers and educational endeavors by providing a quality learning environment through lecture, practical application, research, and internships. We cater to our students by providing both in-class and online instruction to accommodate their lifestyles. We pride ourselves in teaching, being flexible, assisting and advising students. Please feel free to visit with me or any other faculty member to help answer any of your questions and prepare you for the future.

The Sul Ross State University, College of Professional Studies seeks to establish high quality learning communities within each of its departments and across the College as a whole. We promote the scholarship and professional achievement of our students and graduates, preparing them for challenging, gratifying, and socially significant careers. Academia is provided through teaching, service, research and training, utilizing technologically-advanced instruction, to improve individuals and social systems, both local and international.
