Pre-Law Emphasis
Law schools do not typically prescribe a specific pre-law curriculum. Instead, they recommend broad-based, liberal arts preparation. A pre-law emphasis within the political science major has been designed to meet that recommendation:
- Several courses in political science, such as PS 1302 The World of Law and PS 2303 The Nature and Functions of Law, are specifically designed for students interested in law.
- Catalogs from most law schools accredited by the American Bar Association are available in the Behavioral and Social Sciences office.
