Sul Ross State University encourages students to take part in campus life by participating in student organizations. They provide a balance to classroom instruction by allowing students to develop interpersonal, organizational, time management, and many other skills.

Forming a New Student Organization
Current Sul Ross State University Students that are interested in starting a new student organization or club should meet with the Campus Activities Coordinator to discuss the process before submitting forms. Please call (432) 837-8424 or e-mail the Campus Activities Director to make an appointment.
Existing Student Organization's Annual Registration
Student Organizations are required to register every school year to be an official Sul Ross State University organization and remain eligible for benefits outlined in the Student Organization Handbook. For a student organization to be considered registered, they must submit registration forms by September 1st of each year. Completed forms with all neccessary signatures should be returned to the Campus Activities office UC room 108. Handwritten and/or incomplete forms will not be accepted!
