Password Creation Process for Email and Blackboard

Faculty, Staff:  Once you have completed the new employee orientation process, including the paperwork and right to work verification forms, please allow 24-48 hours for a new account to be created.

Students:  Once you have registered, enrolled, and made either a payment or payment arrangements, the process of creating a new account or re-activating an old account begins.  Depending on when your registration, enrollment, and payment(s) are applied, activation and creation of accounts may take anywhere from 24-48 hours.  Please allow sufficient time for the new information to populate through all SRSU systems before calling the LTAC Helpdesk.  It is important to note for students who register and enroll early, accounts are not activated until approximately 2 weeks prior to the first day of class.  For students who enroll during regular and late registeration, account activation will be between 24 to 48 hours after you have completely enrolled and registered.  

With our password reset system (LoboPass), you can login and both reset your password and retrieve your Banner PIN.

Students: Incoming freshmen and new students receive their Banner A# and PIN within their acceptance letter from the registrar's office.  Your Banner A# and PIN will stay the same throughout your career here at Sul Ross.
