Password Creation Process for Email and Blackboard

Faculty, Staff:  Once you have completed the new employee orientation process, including the paperwork and right to work verification forms, please allow 24 hours for a new account to be created.

Students:  From the time you apply to SRSU, the process of creating a new account or re-activating an old account begins.  LoboOnline accounts are created at the time your application is received and you have been accepted to the University.  Once you have accepted your place at Sul Ross and have been admitted, the process of creating your email account begins.  Finally, once you have been enrolled for classes, your Blackboard account for any online classes you may have will be created.  Each of these processes takes approximately 24 hours before accounts are ready for use.  Please allow sufficient time for the new information to populate through all SRSU systems before calling the LTAC Helpdesk for assistance with accessing your accounts.  

With our password reset system (LoboPass), you can login and both reset your password and retrieve your Banner PIN.

LoboOnLine (Self Service Banner)

Students: Incoming freshmen and new students receive their Banner A# and PIN within their acceptance letter from the registrar's office.  Your Banner A# and PIN will stay the same throughout your career here at Sul Ross.

If you have a username and password, you may login to LoboPass and retrieve your A# and PIN.  Please note, this is only for retrieval, not to change the A# and PIN.
