INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS

We have developed a competitive, well rounded intercollegiate athletic program for men and women. The sports offered include football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, softball, cross-country, and track. The athletic program provides laboratory experience if you plan to become a coach, plus it offers high levels of competition. We are a member of the American Southwest Conference, the first non-athletic scholarship, coeducational athletic conference in Texas. All financial assistance earned by ASC athletes is given to the student based on need or academics, not athletic ability. Member schools include Centenary Univeristy, Howard Payne University, Mississippi College, the University of the Ozarks, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Scheiner University, Le Tourneau University, Hardin-Simmons University, Texas Lutheran University, Concordia University at Austin, Louisiana College, the University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of Texas at Tyler.
