Source: Curriculum Reports and CBM001.These enrollment totals are substantially distorted for the late 1960's and early 1970's due to the inclusion of many courses taught during that period off-campus. It appears that this activity began in earnest in 1970-71 (although the headcounts suggest an earlier, gradual start) and ended in 1977-78. The first separate reporting of off-campus classes was in Summer I, 1977. Since that time, the off-campus offerings in Fort Stockton, Pecos, and Pyote have been minimal and taught by regular Sul Ross faculty. The Rio Grande College campus totals, which began to be reported separately in 1977-78, had earlier been part of the off-campus activity referred to above.
