Range and Wildlife Club

The Range and Wildlife Club is the student section for the Society for Range Management and The Wildlife Society.  All students and community members are welcome!  You can become a member by paying $20/year in membership dues.  Meals are served at each meeting.  The SRSU Range and Wildlife Club provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety of activities for community-service and professional development.

The SRSU Range and Wildlife Club hosts a variety of conservation, community service, and recruitment programs including:

  • Bighorn Sheep Work Day (Co-hosted by Texas Bighorn Society and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department)
  • Pronghorn Restoration
  • Highway 67 Cleanup
  • Annual Turkey Shoot
  • Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society Meeting
  • Texas Section for the Society of Range Management Meeting
