The Physicial Education Department also offers training to obtain the driver and traffic safety education certificate needed to teach driver education in a school or commercial school setting. A program is also offered in Motorcycle Safety to obtain license certification. ATHLETIC TRAINING PROGRAM The Athletic Training Program provides students with the academic course work and apprenticeship experience to become licensed Athletic Trainers in the state of Texas. Athletic Training concerns all aspects of the athlete’s health and safety. Students in the Athletic Training program assist with the prevention of athletic injuries, provide immediate care and treatment to injured athletes, as well as assist with the rehabilitation of various sports related injuries.
