Motorcycle Safety Program
Motorcycle classes are offered through Sul Ross State University at the Basic and Experienced Rider levels throughout the year.
Classroom sessions are held in Room 202 of the Morelock Academic Building, with riding at the Jackson Field parking lot on the west end of the stadium next to Highway 118.
All materials, including motorcycle, helmet, gloves and workbook, are furnished for the Basic Class.
Experienced Rider class members must provide their own motorcycle and must have proof of insurance, helmet and current inspection sticker. The cost is $175 for the Basic Class and $75 for the Experienced Rider class. A discount is available to TCLEOSE-certified officers.
