Disability Services

Disability Services provides support and assistance to students with:

  • Physical disabilities (including hearing and visual impairments)
  • Psychological disabilities
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Attention Deficit Disorder

The university offers equal opportunities to all students. Students with disabilities are admitted under the same standard as all other students.

To be eligible for disability services a student is required to be admitted to the university, have a documented disability and register with the Disabilities Services office.

Services provided include:

  • Counseling for specific academic needs due to disabilities
  • Reasonable classroom accommodations
  • Request for accessible residence hall rooms
  • Advisement and scheduling assistance
  • Study skills and time managment instruction
  • Academic support
