Sully's Super Saturday Preview day is designed for prospective students interested in enrolling at Sul Ross State University. This event is usually held at the beginning of each spring semester hosted by the Office of Recruiting.
During Sully's Super Saturday Preview, You can discover the outstanding programs offered at Sul Ross State University. Planned events include visiting with academic representatives, campus tours, student services, organization fairs, and special entertainment -- not to mention lots of Sul Ross spirit and tradition! Ample time is provided for you to visit with Sul Ross faculty, staffs, and students in informal settings. Our doors are open, and we are waiting to show you what your future holds at Sul Ross State University.

$10.00 per prospective student and $5 each additional guest

Enjoy an enthusiastic welcome from campus spirit groups and our mascot "Sully".

09:30 -10:30 a.m. Check-In and Registration at University Center
10:30 a.m. THE OPENING ASSEMBLY features a special greeting from Sul Ross Administration and current Sul Ross Student Ambassadors. This overview of Sully's Super Saturday activities is not to be missed!!!
INFORMATION will be available from the following academic schools and departments: Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Professional Studies, Admissions, Residential Living and Financial Aid. Representatives from academic schools and departments, student services and campus organizations will answer questions and give more detailed information about individual programs.
CAMPUS TOURS showcase the unique architecture of Sul Ross Loboland. Guided by Sul Ross State University Student Ambassadors & FLP, tours will depart before lunch. Residential Living tours will also be available to give visitors a first-hand look at the advantages of living on campus.
LUNCH is included in the $10 registration fee for each prospective student. Lunch is also included in the $5 registration fee for each additional guests registered. So that we have an accurate count for meals, please indicate the total number of guests' including yourself on your reservation form.
LOBO Athletics for all you sport fans. Sully is featuring a fanatic sports feature, stick around and support our men's and women's Lobos. Starting at 1 p.m. SRSU women and men's basketball games vs. Mary Hardin-Baylor at the Pete. P Gallego Multi-Purpose Center. Free tickets are included in your Sully's Super Saturday package.
PARKING for Sully's Super Saturday visitors is in the lot at the northwest side entrance Gate 4 of the University Center. If you are entering Alpine from East Hwy 90, take a left on first entrance (Gate 1). Follow posted signs directing you to the University Center.
If you are entering town from West Hwy 90, take a left on Harrison Road and continue driving straight entering the campus making right turn on entrance (Gate 4). Follow posted signs directing you to the University Center parking lot.
If you are entering town from North Hwy 118, take a left at high school and continue loop road until you see university. Make a left turn at entrance (Gate 4).
DRESS: Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a sweater just in case weather is bad.

ALPINE, TEXAS, is located in the county seat of Brewster County, at the gateway to the Big Bend Country. The Big Bend Country of Texas is a crucible of cultures: Indian, Spanish, Mexican, Anglo's a multifaceted region encompassing vast expanses of the great Chihuahuan Desert, picturesque hills and mountains reaching to over eight thousand feet in altitude, rolling plains and lush grasslands, and a wide assortment of plants, wildlife, and geological features which annually attract over half a million visitors from throughout the world.
These visitors share with the students and faculty of Sul Ross an environment that is free of pollution, warm in winter and cool in summer, and ideal for combining university studies with a variety of outside recreational activities. Located near Sul Ross are the unique and nationally well known Big Bend National Park, the scenic Davis Mountains and State Park, the Fort Davis National Historic Site, the University of Texas McDonald Observatory, the Balmorhea State Park, and a number of historic towns and sites which vividly depict the region's diverse history.

"THERE ARE OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO VISIT SRSU" Sully's Super Saturday is not the only time to visit our beautiful campus. The Office of Recruiting encourages you to visit Sul Ross anytime during the year. You can preview campus life through an individual tour.
Student Ambassador-guided tours are available Monday-Friday any time from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, tours are scheduled by appointment. To schedule your campus visit, call Sul Ross Student Ambassadors at 1-888-722-SRSU (7778) or e-mail our Sul Ross Ambassadors at ambassad@sulross.edu.
