MC-SRSU Science Initiative

For happenings with the MC-SRSU Science Initiative, please check out the S.I. News page.

The MC-SRSU Science Initiative, a cooperative agreement between Midland College and Sul Ross State University, began in 2002. The Science Initiative offers students at Midland College opportunities to earn a four-year degree in Biology, Geology, or Mathematics from Sul Ross while staying at Midland College. Courses are broadcast to Midland College via interactive television or offered via the internet. To date, about 40 Midland College students have graduated from Sul Ross under the Science Initiative while maintaining residence in Midland, and many more are currently seeking degrees.
