Master of Business Administration Degree

Dr. Pam Marett's international business classThe Master of Business Administration is a one-year, full-time post-graduate degree program designed to prepare individuals to deal with all aspects of the complex and competitive world of organizations. The MBA program imparts the latest organizational knowledge and perspectives.

Students learn how to recognize and define changes critical to organizations regionally, nationally and globally. The MBA professors apply academic theory, the practical lessons they have learned and the knowledge gained from their research to their courses. The MBA curriculum includes the core content of economics, finance, marketing, management and accounting.

The Department of Business Administration MBA program attracts people from diverse cultures and leverages these differences into learning opportunities. Through the program students will form lasting relationships with faculty, students and alumni who provide a powerful professional and personal advantage.

Background or “leveling work” may be required as deemed necessary by the MBA advisor with approval from the department head and the dean. Leveling work requirements may include: Accounting 2330; Economics 2300 and 2305; Finance 3340; Marketing 3370; Management 3360; and General Business Administration 3352.
