Criminal Justice Internship Program

All students interested in pursuing an internship opportunity are required to find their own host agency prior to enrolling in the internship course. A compendium of internship resources is available for download (PDF, 38.6 KB). Additional requirements include, but are not limited to those listed below.

Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduate Internships

1. Full-time SRSU student
2. Criminal justice major
3. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
4. A person may not register for internship for their full or part-time compensated employment
5. Approval of department chair

Eligibility Requirements for Graduate Internships

1. Full-time S.R.S.U. student
2. Criminal justice major
3. Minimum overall GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
4. Student has located an agency willing to allow the internship
5. A person may not register for internship for their full or part-time compensated employment
6. Approval of graduate coordinator
