
The Department of Natural Resource Management provides students with a curriculum that is both grounded in scientific principles and emphasizes the hands-on experience. There are two majors within the Department of Natural Resource Management: Agricultural Business and Natural Resource Management, with concentrations in Range Management, Wildlife Management and Conservation Biology. All Natural Resource Management concentrations can lead to professional certifications, such as The Wildlife Society certified wildlife biologists and Society for Range Management certified range professionals.
Graduate programs in Range and Wildlife Management include the Master of Agriculture (non-thesis), Master of Science (non-thesis) and Master of Science (thesis).
Facilities located in the Everett E. Turner Range Animal Science (RAS) Center include the soils dry lab, the nutrition wet lab, the William A. Adams Big Game Trophy and Game Bird Collection, a computer lab and a small ranch located adjacent to the RAS Center.
