ANRS & Rodeo Exes

Dues are $50 for membership in the ANRS & Rodeo Exes Association. If you also want to join the SR Alumni Association – please add an additional $40 and we will forward those funds to the SRAA. Please mail your dues payable to "ANRS & Rodeo Exes" to: ANRS & Rodeo Exes Treasurer, PO Box 539, Fort Stockton, Texas 79735.

Member: Membership in ANRS & Rodeo Exes does not require attendance or graduation from Sul Ross or ANRS. Anyone with an interest in the Association can become a member.

Definitions:

Ex – A graduate from Sul Ross State University (need not be an ANRS graduate) who is a member in good standing with the ANRS & Rodeo Exes Association.
Member – A person with interest in the ANRS and/or Rodeo Programs who is a member in good standing with the ANRS & Rodeo Exes Association.
Family – Spouse, grandparent, parent, step-parent, son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter, brother or sister of an Ex (see above definition) who is a member in good standing with the ANRS & Rodeo Exes Association.

Friday-July 25, 2008
6:00 p.m. Social at the Crystal Bar.  Food and drinks will be provided.
 
7:00 p.m. Poker Tournament at the Crystal Bar

Texas Hold ‘em - Open to Members - $20 entry with unlimited buybacks for $20

Saturday-July 26, 2008
8:00 a.m. Roping at the S.A.L.E. Arena

8:30 Open Barrel Race. $30 entry. Breast Collar awarded to winner.

8:30 SHARP Goat Ropings. Open to Members. $40 entry. 1 go round with top 10 short go. Buckle awarded to winner. Youth goat roping will run concurrently. You must be under 16 years old and be family of a Member. $25 entry. 1 head only with a 3 loop or 2 minute limit. Gift certificate awarded to winner.

Breakaway Ropings – Open to Members. $40 entry. 1 go round with top 10 short go. Buckle awarded to winner. Youth breakaway will run concurrently. You must be under 16 years old and be family of a Member. $25 entry. 1 head only with a 2 loop or 90 second limit. Gift certificate awarded to winner.

Ribbon Roping – Open to Members. $40 entry. 1 go round with top 10 short go. 1 Buckle and one $100 gift certificate awarded to winner.

Exes Team Roping – Exes only. $100 entry draw five partners. Buckles awarded to winners.

Family Team Roping – Exes and Family. You can only rope with your immediate family. 3 for $30 entry. Buckles awarded to winners.

Open Roping. 3 for $40 entry.

7:00 p.m. Hall of Fame Dinner and Ceremony at the Alpine Civic Center

9:00 p.m. Dance at the Alpine Civic Center

Music by Jake Hooker and the Outsiders. We will also have a silent and live auction. A buckle will be auctioned off again this year!

8:00 a.m. Golf Tournament at the Alpine Country Club

Four Man Scramble - Open to Members. $75 entry. Buckles will be awarded.

Scholarships

You helped to provide $8,000 in scholarship monies from the proceeds from the 2007 reunion as well as add to the endowment fund. Half of the scholarships goes to academic scholarships and half toward rodeo scholarships. View the Thank You Letters
