Law Enforcement Association

Sul Ross State Universities Law Enforcement Association is open to any person who is currently enrolled at Sul Ross State University, or a member or retired member of the faculty or staff of Sul Ross State University or their spouses.

The association provides opportunities for students to gain practical knowledge in the field of criminal justice. Opportunities consist of but are not limited to: field trips to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies; meeting with area law enforcement officials; and working on community projects to raise funds to pay for trips.

Voting members must be current with dues which are $5.00 per long semsester or both summer sessions.

Officers are elected by majority of members present and voting. They include: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter, and Sergeant at Arms.

Regardless of how busy you are with course work, it is well worth the effort to join LEA. Membership will provide you with unlimited networking opportunities with Criminal Justice Professionals.
