The Skyline newspaper is produced weekly during the fall and spring semesters by a student staff. The newspaper provides the university community with news concerning students, faculty and campus events as well as providing a forum for students to discuss ideas and express opinions.

The Skyline also provides a historical record of Sul Ross State University.
