Annual Tree Lighting Delights All

President Vic Morgan was the master of ceremonies for the annual Sul Ross Christmas Tree Lighting event on Wednesday evening, Nov. 28. A large tree on the Library's south lawn came alive with white lights with the help of President Morgan's two little "elves."

Christmas carols were led by Dr. Donald Freed of the SRSU Music Department. Inside the University Center, a large tree was brought to life with multi-colored lights. More carols followed, with piano accompaniment by Dr. Justin Badgerow. Hot chocolate, cider and cookies were served to all. A visit by Santa Claus delighted youngsters of all ages.
