ACE Student Worker Positions

A number of positions are available for students in the Academic Center for Excellence. These include:

Institutional and Work Study Student Positions
These are part-time positions in the ACE Learning Center. They can range from 5 to 20 hours per week, and work schedules can be arranged around the student worker's class schedule. If you are not sure that you qualify for the College Work Study Program, you may check your work study eligibility with the Financial Aid Office. We usually have work study positions available.

Math Tutoring
Seven to ten students are hired every semester to work as math tutors. Math tutors are required to have completed college-level trigonometry.

Reading Tutoring Assistants
One or two students are hired every semester to work as reading tutors. Reading tutors are required to have completed the freshman English courses.

Writing Tutoring
One or two students are hired every semester to work as writing tutors. Writing tutors are required to have completed the sophomore English courses.

Office Positions
Tutors assist the ACE office as needed.
