Lobos on Radio

The 2009-2010 Sul Ross athletic season marks the 63rd year of coverage on KVLF 1240 AM radio, the "Voice of the Last Frontier."

Jerry Sotello, the voice of the Lobos for football, volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball contests, enters his 20th season covering the Lobos. A 35-year veteran of Texas broadcast journalism, Sotello also covers Alpine High School athletics and co-hosts a weekly football and volleyball scoreboard show in the fall.

Coverage of Lobo sports begins with a 20-minute pre-game show followed by a 15-minute wrapup after the final gun.
