Sul Ross State University

The Registrar's Office registers students, maintains a record of academic studies, certifies students for graduation, and provides transcripts of academic work. The office also maintains student and faculty data for state and federal reporting, providing compliance with various privacy laws and certification of veteran education training.

Official E-Mail Address

All students are required to maintain an @sulross.edu computer account. This account provides both an online identification key and a university official e-mail address. The university sends much of its corrspondence solely through e-mail. This includes policy announcements, emergency notices, event notifications, financial aid information, course syllabi and requirements, and correspondence between faculty and students. Such correspondence is mailed only to the university official e-mail address.

NON-PAYMENT OF TUITION AND FEES

Effective with Spring 2007, students who have not paid at least one-half tuition and fees (or made confirmed arrangements through Financial Assistance) by the 12th class day will dropped from all classes. Efforts will be made to notify students who are scheduled to be dropped by campus e-mail and phone. In order to be reinstated back into class you must pay an additional $100 reinstatement fee. Anyone who has not resolved tuition and fee payment by the 20th class day will not be allowed to be re-instated in class
