Sport Clubs

Sport Clubs are another way for students to get involved in educational, recreational, and social programs. Like other student organizations, they are based on student leadership and involvement.

They offer various levels of participation and committment. The university supports these organizations through encouragement and guidance and the coordination of financial resources and facilities. Sport clubs provide an excellent opportunity for student to meet new people, learn new skills, get exercise and compete in extramural events.

The Sport Club Program is a division of the Campus Activities Student Organizations administered by Recreational Programs. These are clubs that require more regulations because of the athletic and competitive nature of the club.

Sport Clubs at Sul Ross currently include Cheerleading and Rugby. For information about forming another club, contact Ryan Baade or Belle Pena.
