News and Notes

We are about to award scholarships for students that will be attending Sul Ross and for students already attending Sul Ross. This is the second year we do this, and we are excited about the help we are providing for students in need.

We just completed our second golf tournament for raising the money for these scholarships. Our golf tournament was a great success and we will begin work on planning next year. It's our hope that all of you can get involved and help us grow.

Scholarships for Students from South Texas

The South TX Alumni & Friends has helped to provide $16,000.00 in scholarship monies from the proceeds from the 2007 golf tournament. Scholarships are available to prospective students across Laredo to Corpus Christi down to the Rio Grande Valley. See Freshmen Scholarship Application or Returning Student Scholarship Application.

The South Texas Chapter are alumni and friends from Laredo across to Corpus Christi encompassing 23 counties.
