Executive MBA at Chihuahua

Overview

The Department of Business Administration offers the Executive MBA graduate program at Chihuahua in collaboration with la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, awarding a master of business administration degree from Sul Ross.

The SRSU EMBA at Chihuahua has provided experienced managers with executive-level education fundamental to success since 1998.

The program is taught in English at la Universidad Autónoma Chihuahua. The curriculum provides students with a solid base in the functional areas of business in a format suited to working managers. Students may complete the program in two years or take up to six years to complete the degree. The program provides special emphasis on the Mexican business environment.

Chihuahua campusIn addition to benefiting from the learning opportunities provided by faculty and curriculum, students share in productive discussion with other experienced managers.

A team approach is often used to take advantage of this experience through diverse perspectives on various topics.

Other features include:

  • UACH and SRSU faculty members share teaching responsibilities, with SRSU faculty teaching at least eight of the 12 courses.
  • SRSU Department of Business Administration faculty travel to Chihuahua to deliver the curriculum at UACH.
  • Class size and class structure facilitate close interaction between faculty and participants.
  • A variety of teaching styles are used, including lectures, discussions, case studies and group projects.
  • Students have opportunities to network with other accomplished Chihuahua managers.
  • Students collaborate with students in the SRSU MBA program on research projects, field trips and special events, creating additional networking opportunities.
  • Lasting professional and personal relationships are built and maintained through the SRSU Chihuahua alumni association.

The SRSU EMBA recognizes each student's multiple demands. It encourages employer support of each dedicated student and is a committed family-friendly program.
