Graduation Procedures

In order to receive the MBA degree, students must complete the Application for Candidacy and Application for Graduation.

Complete Required Application for Candidacy

EMBA students must complete the Application for Candidacy for the Master of Business Administration Degree immediately upon completing 12 semester credit hours. This form should be submitted to one of the DBA faculty at class.

Timely submission is essential to graduation and is the student's responsibility. No reminder notices are sent.

Application for Graduation

EMBA students must complete and submit a typed Graduation Application the semester before graduating. The due dates noted on the academic calendar must be adhered to or graduation will be delayed a term.

Certain fees are required along with the form. There is a $20 graduation fee that must be paid by every student who graduates. There is another $20 in-absentia fee for students who will not attend the graduation ceremony.

The graduation fees and application should be submitted to your professor at class. Please note deadline dates on the SRSU academic calendar. No reminders are sent. This is the student's responsibility.

Graduation Ceremony

Any EMBA student planning on attending the graduation ceremony must order and pay for the graduation regalia (cap, gown, hood, tassel) no later than two weeks prior to graduation. Call the SRSU bookstore at (432) 837-8194. Have a credit card at hand. Payment is required at the time the order is placed.
