Welcome from the DirectorWelcome to Lobo Village! On behalf of the Residential Living team, I would like to welcome you as a new or returning student to your home away from home. The Residential Living staff looks forward to working with you to make your living-learning experience here at Sul Ross a memorable one. Whether you are living in the residence halls, efficiency apartments or family apartments, you will hopefully find the time to engage yourself in the many educational and social opportunities available to you. By living on-campus you have a unique advantage of interacting with a wide variety of people in many different settings. It may be an exam review session in the halls, a karaoke contest in the community room, or a steak and shrimp night in the cafeteria. Our programming and events cover all the bases: academics, social activity, and your stomach. If that's not enough, we can help you get involved with one of the 40+ student organizations on campus. The professional and student staff employed by Residential Living work hard to provide a fun and safe environment for you. I encourage you to get to know these people well during your time here. They are wonderful assets to your development as a student and can often lend helpful advice during the most stressful periods you will face as a college student. There is a RA and a professional staff member on-call 24/7. We are ready and willing to assist you in any way we can.
