The 4th Annual Branding Together 5K Run/WalkSaturday, July 10 See the 2010 5K Results Brief Description Get ready for Run/Walk! Get involved with something fast, fun, and fulfilling at the 4th Annual Branding Together 5K Run/Walk! The is event is for casual walkers, family fitness fans and serious runners alike, the Run/Walk 5K Race is sure to be a fun-filled day. Branding Together 5K Run/Walk 2010 will take place at Kokernot Lodge. This event is open to everyone. Registration fee for general individual Entry Fee is $20.00. Awards post race ceremony. Registration Fee: $20 Individual General Person, FREE for SRSU students enrolled in Summer II with current ID. Limited t-shirts available. Children 12 and Under. (Must fill out form and have parent or guardian's signature). Click here for entry form. The Course The 5K (3.1 mile) start and finish is at Kokernot Lodge on N. Harrison Street (Loop Road) and winds through the gently rolling hills of the loop until your reach first street on right. (N. Antelope). Course continues north making a left turn on John W Road and straight (west) for about 1/4 mile making a left on 2nd street. At 2nd street keep going south until 2nd street turns into Fighting Buck Avenue. Then, take left at Brown street, just past golf course west up until you reach Harrison Street (loop road) back toward Kokernot Lodge. Click here for course. Age Categories 5K Run/Walk age categories: 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+. The Run Results will be timed and tabulated for all runners. Overall and age-group winners will be announced at the post-race celebration at Kokernot Lodge. The Walk Walkers, wheelchairs, wagons and strollers are especially welcome in this event. Sorry, no dogs will be allowed. 5K Awards 5K Run and Walk: Overall female and male, plus 1st–3rd place for both female and male age groups. No duplication of awards. Only ONE set of awards will be giving to overall run and walk participants. Race Material Pick-up Race Material pick-up is Friday, July 9 from 11:00 am -5:00 pm at the Sul Ross University Center information desk and Saturday, July 10th from 7:00-7:45 a.m. at Kokernot Field.
