Sustainable Agricultural Water Conservation Research Project

The SAWC Research Project is currently in the fourth year of funding. Year 4 funding, scheduled to begin in August 2008, includes 20 specific research programs (2008 SAWC Project Narrative) that address groundwater, surface water, biology, vegetation mapping, human factors, and collaboration.

The primary focus of the 2008 Rio Grande Research Center emphasizes investigations that identify, quantify and characterize the integrity of biophysical systems within the basin boundary.
