2009-2010 Alumni Association Board of Directors announced
 Beeville resident Don Sugarek (B.S. Animal Science’67; M.A.’69) was re-elected as president of the Sul Ross State University Alumni Association (SRSUAA) Board of Directors for 2009-10. Sugarek is a Texas Farm Bureau area field representative.
Joining him are: Lubbock resident Raymond Richardson (B.B.A. Management ’01), Vice President of Human Resources for City Bank; Patrick Tarlton (B.S. Political Science ’06) of Round Rock, chief of staff for State Repesentative Pete P. Gallego; and Uvalde resident Stephanie (Rebecek) Rinaldi (M.B.A. General Business Administration ‘06), founder of QuadRin Land and Energy Services, Inc.
Completing the board are: directors Bill McAnally (B.S. Animal Science ’89), representative for USDA of Fort Stockton; Dr. Larry Thompson (M.A. Education ‘68) of Lubbock, a retired public school teacher; Alpine resident Danny Jackson (B.A. Industrial Technology ’76), teacher at Alpine Middle School; and Uvalde resident Bryan Hernandez (Rio Grande College B.S. Math ‘08).
Ray Hendryx of Alpine, owner/operator of Big Bend Radio serves as Presidents appointee; Moises Morales (B.A. Political Science ’09) as the student appointed representative; Sinton resident Dr. Selma Glasscock (B.S. Mathematics/Biology ’75), assistant director of Rob and Bessie Welder Wildlife Foundation; and Patti Miles (1971-72) of Houston serves as the SRSUAA Presidents appointed representatives.
The SRSU Alumni Association represents the university’s more than 25,000 graduates, with a mission of encouraging alumni pride in association with the university, developing alumni interest and involvement, and promoting personal advocacy and long-term support for and investment in SRSU, its people and its programs.
