The 3rd Annual Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010.

2nd Annual Earth Day Celebration (April 2009)!
The Second Annual Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 12:00-5:00pm at Kokernot Lodge. The purpose of the celebration is to increase awareness about the environment and local organizations and businesses that promote the sustainable use of the earth's resources. There will be music, nature presentations, green-demonstrations, eco-friendly crafts for kids, art and solar oven contests, and much more! Admission and food are free!! Donations will be accepted.

Drawing Contest — 4 age categories: 7 & under, 8-12, 13-17 years old, 18 & above. All drawings must be about Earth Day, the environment, or conservation issues.
TrashyArt Contest — Make that trash into art! Please nothing that will decompose, overly messy, or smells badly. Supplies will be available at the event to create your masterpiece there!
Solar Oven Cook Off — Bring your homemade solar oven or make your own at the event!
