Residential Living at Sul Ross State University provides a convenient, economical living arrangement for students as they pursue their academic goals. University housing options include two residence halls, efficiency apartments and family housing. The Residential Living team is eager to assist in any way possible that will foster a healthy living/learning environment for students here at Sul Ross.

New students: You do not need to be accepted to Sul Ross to apply for housing. Please apply ASAP-spaces fill up quickly! Housing assignments will be emailed August 1st to the student's preferred email address. If a student does not provide an email address then their assignment will be mailed to them. The following information will be sent:

  • Student's building and room assignment
  • Roommate's name and contact information (if applicable)
  • Move-in date and time
  • Information for new residents (e.g. what to bring/leave at home, etc)
  • Residential Living contact information 

Current residents: Intent forms for the residence halls and the family housing and efficiency apartments are now online. If you are curently in housing at Sul Ross please fill out your form before you leave on May 11th.

To submit a work request: Please contact a resident assistant (RA) or call us in the office at (432) 837-8190. We will submit a work request on your behalf to the Physical Plant.
