Romeo was played by Allen Ludden of "Password" fame. He was married to actress Betty White, who played Sue Ann on "The Mary Tyler Moore" show. Juliet was played by Freda Gipson Powell, a Sul Ross student at the time, who later became the chair of the Department of Speech and Drama. Dan Blocker was one of her students.
