ABOUT US
Since its inception in 1992, the Big Bend Region Minority and Small
Business Development Center has secured over 300 loans amounting
to over $58.8 million, has served over 3300 clients, conducted over 235
seminars, and assisted with more than 120 new business start-ups, while in
the process creating over 600 new jobs. Big Bend Region Minority and Small Business Development Center Newsletter The Big Bend Region Minority and Small Business Development Center produces and distributes a weekly newsletter of interest to local business owners, managers, entrepreneurs and those considering a small business startup. Content includes seminar and workshop announcements, conference dates, local success stories and features pertaining to conducting business. The SBDC newsletter is rapidly becoming the preferred choice of businesses in the Big Bend Region to keep abreast of local and regional developments as well as training opportunities. The Big Bend Region SBDC newsletter is sent via e-mail on Mondays to over 500 subscribers. There is no cost to subscribe and subscriptions can be canceled at any time.
