The Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership program prepares students to integrate leadership theory with practical application to become effective leaders in nonprofit, for-profit community and governmental organizations. Graduates will be prepared to assume positions of leadership in government, healthcare, and business organizations. Students graduating from the program will learn how to communicate effectively to inspire and lead their organizations while learning how to use research to make informed decisions. Professors will place special instructional focus on organizational leadership planning and developing financial statements, budgets, and reports.
The program is offered entirely online with small class sizes. The program is also very flexible, allowing students to use electives to create a customized curriculum to satisfy their specific needs. The program is led by professors with a wide range of experiences in business. Graduates of the program will develop a diversity of perspectives on leadership by taking advantage of the border culture that is a part of Sul Ross State University’s heritage.
