Sul Ross State University participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement. The survey is performed once a year. Eligible SRSU Freshmen and Senior students are invited to respond to the survey. NSSE assesses how students engage in educational practices associated with high levels of learning and development including:
- participation in dozens of educationally purposeful activities
- institutional requirements and the challenging nature of coursework
- perceptions of the college environment
- estimates of educational and personal growth since starting college
- background and demographic information.
