Get a four-year degree from Sul Ross while at Midland College
This unique partnership between Sul Ross State University and Midland College, established through the SRSU-MC Science Initiative and the HITAP grants, allows students the oppertunity to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Sul Ross State University remotely on the Midland College campus. The Science-Initiative (launching in October of 2002) and the HITAP (launching in October 2010) has allowed numerous courses to be converted to Distance Education style classes. Courses can be completed on the Midland College campus via broadcasted ITV (interactive television) or web-based classes. This program allows participating students to transfer up to 90 hours of coursework from Midland College to the selected Sul Ross degree plan, making it an affordable option for a varity students.
Sul Ross @ MC students can choose from eleven different disciplines for their Bachelor's Degree. These include Biology, Chemistry, Criminal Justice, Computer Science (Cyber Security Concentration), Education (all levels of certification), English, Geology, History, Kinesiology, Mathematics and Spanish.
