Institutional Surveys

At SRSU we strive to learn and understand more about our students, faculty and staff. IR conducts institutional surveys and assists SRSU departments in survey development, design and analysis.

Core Curriculum Survey

It surveys eligible students on two of six core skills with the goal of assessing student self-reported proficiency in the respective skills. It is administered each semester. More information about the Core Curriculum can be found here.

Satisfaction Survey

All students are invited to answer questions that rate distance learning, library and facilities services. The survey is conducted annually during the Fall semester.

Faculty Evaluation Survey

All students are invited to answer questions about each course they enrolled in and rate the faculty performance on each course. The survey is conducted every semester for all courses.

New Student Survey (RGC)

All incoming freshman students at the RGC campus are invited to answer questions about themselves and their experience joining SRSU. The survey is conducted at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.

Student Opinion Survey

All students at the RGC campus are invited to rate a wide range of services in their home campus. The survey is conducted at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.

Graduating Student Survey

All senior students that have applied for graduation are invited to rate their overall learning experience at Sul Ross. The survey is conducted at the end of the Spring and Fall terms.
