Members of the Sul Ross State University faculty have been awarded a coveted Research Enhancement Grant from the institution’s Research Council.
The Research Enhancement Grant is a competitive accolade that recognizes exceptional proposals with the potential to make significant contributions to their respective fields. The selected faculty members have demonstrated exemplary dedication to advancing knowledge and innovation through their proposed research projects.
The following faculty members are awarded the grant:
Dr. Charles Koenig, “Evaluating the Role of Earth Ovens and Agave at La Junta de los Rios.”
Dr. Byron Schroeder and Dr. Devin Pettigrew, “Re-envisioning Past Big Bend Hunting: Analyzing Artifacts at the Museum of the Big Bend.”
Dr. Yen-Hsin Chen, “Why Do You Protest Against your Regime? Peasant and Worker Protests in China.”
The Research Enhancement Grant will enable faculty members to embark on ambitious research initiatives, ranging from groundbreaking scientific investigations to innovative humanities projects. By providing financial support and resources, the grant empowers researchers to conduct rigorous inquiries, generate new insights, and disseminate their findings to the broader academic community and society.
