The Meat Market offers a variety of beef, pork, lamb and goat products, as well as a number of smoked and fully cooked items.

We are located at Paso Del Norte Road Alpine, Texas 79830. You will turn in to the Range Animal Science Center off Hwy. 90 and we are located on the east side of the RAS building. You may use this video for directions:

We slaughter on Tuesdays and the animals must be dropped off with us Monday before 5PM.

Please understand that our storefront inventory reflects student classes as well as meat production coursework. No product is guaranteed to be offered or restocked.

Sul Ross Meat Lab & Market provides a hands-on state inspected space for students to learn meat processing, best practices for food safety, and butcher retail; supports faculty research; and creates a wholesome food for our local community and the Big Bend region of Texas.
