Combining works from local collectors and the Museum’s collection of early Texas art, EPMA showcases Early West Texas: Waypoint and Home through Nov. 3 in the first floor Dede Rogers Gallery. As the exhibit title suggests, humans have experienced West Texas as both a home and a place of passage, and the paintings, prints, drawings, and photographs in this latest exhibit detail those changing border peoples and the landscapes which often remained the same.
EPMA is open 9:00-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00-5:00 Sunday, and closed on Mondays.
